Discussion Nights
David's Temple discussion nights are
designed to encapsulate open, honest, respectful, but deep and
challenging topics that delve into areas often not addressed in a public
setting: Religion, Politics, Personal and Spiritual Beliefs, everything is fair game!
The Guidelines are simple:
Share your opinion openly, be respectful of one another and don't push
your personal opinion or convictions on anyone else. Be encouraging as
you may challenge the position of another and through this heart we can
truly share lives and discuss deep issues without hurt or even
hesitation.
David's Temple intends to be a fun environment but
also a challenging environment for those that might want to be
challenged in new ways. The main order of the day however will always be
love and kindness. If you can keep to this foundation while
communicating what might often be hot and exciting topics, please feel
welcome to join us at our next Open Discussion night. Announced on our Facebook page.
"A Toonie for your thoughts." - There is a small $2 cover to help cover the costs of this event. Finger foods, salad, chilli and soup will be provided. Coffee, tea and other beverages will be available, please feel free to help yourself.
