Our Mission
Impact lives through creating a safe family environment where people can enjoy fellowship and share the love of Spirituality with one another with no social pressure of obligation in any way.
David's Temple is not solely a Christian organization. The people involved come from a number of faiths including Christianity and Buddhism. We feel there is a special connection that can be attained through spiritual and moral giving that needs to be more prevalent in our lives and society today that has been missed by many people.
In the early church, churches were identified by geographic location rather than the independent corporate entity that exsists today. In essence it was not the Catholic Church or The Baptist Church or Pentecostal Church or even Non-Denominational Church. Each church was identified as what would be "The Church of Rome", "The Church of Barrie", "The Church of Toronto" or "The Church of Simcoe County". Where all in the community were empowered to share in each others' lives openly as a large community rather than a segmented non-profit organization.
The mission of David's Temple is not to be a "church" but rather a community gathering and sharing facility focused around food, fellowship and a restaurant environment. We welcome Christian and Non-Christian alike to our safe and open environment where you can share in your journey with others if you so choose, or just keep to yourself and enjoy a great meal or evening of entertainment.
Through journeying together, the burden is light. We look forward to sharing in life with you.
